Junior Marketing & Social Media Assistant

Location: Fourways, Johannesburg

Khusela Secure Group is looking for an energetic, adaptable and eager-to-learn individual to join the team in a junior Marketing support role. The primary function of the position will be social media management and content support, while also providing the successful candidate with exposure to different departments and functions across the Group.

This opportunity is suited to someone at the beginning of their career who is willing to learn, take initiative and grow within a fast-paced operational business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day management of the Group’s social media platforms.
• Create, schedule and publish social media content.
• Assist with captions, campaigns, content planning and community engagement.
• Monitor social platforms and ensure content is accurate, relevant and posted timeously.
• Capture photographs and video content for social media and marketing purposes.
• Gather content from different divisions, departments and operational teams.
• Assist with company events, activations, functions and marketing initiatives.
• Provide general marketing and administrative support.
• Assist with projects across different departments when required.
• Carry out ad hoc duties and learn new systems, processes and business functions as required.
• Assist with urgent or emergency social media communication outside normal working hours when necessary.

Important Requirements

• Reliable own transport is essential.
• Must be able to travel to Fourways reliably.
• Must be willing and able to travel occasionally for work.
• Must have flexibility to assist after hours, over weekends and on public holidays when required.
• Weekend work may include attending company functions, events, activations or operational activities to capture and post content.
• Must be available for urgent or emergency social media postings outside normal working hours when necessary.

The role does not require continuous after-hours work, however flexibility and responsiveness are important due to the operational nature of the Group.

Area Manager

Location: Fourways, Johannesburg

Aragon Khusela is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Area Manager to oversee security operations, client relationships and personnel across multiple sites in and around Fourways.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational performance of all security sites within the allocated area.
• Manage and provide direction to Field Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and security officers.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and service-quality audits.
• Ensure that all sites are fully staffed and operating in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Monitor staff attendance, deployment, appearance, conduct and compliance with site instructions.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and address operational concerns promptly.
• Attend client meetings and provide regular operational and incident reports.
• Investigate serious incidents, complaints, misconduct and service failures.
• Ensure that corrective and disciplinary action is initiated where necessary.
• Monitor rosters, overtime, absenteeism and relief arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with PSIRA requirements, company policies and applicable legislation.
• Oversee the management of company vehicles, firearms, radios and operational equipment.
• Coordinate emergency responses and provide after-hours operational support.
• Identify operational risks and implement practical corrective measures.
• Assist with the mobilisation and takeover of new security sites.
• Ensure that Field Managers complete inspections, reports and assigned operational duties.
• Submit accurate weekly and monthly management reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid PSIRA registration, preferably Grade A.
• Minimum of 5 years’ operational management experience within the private security industry.
• Proven experience managing multiple security sites and operational teams.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management and disciplinary procedures.
• Sound understanding of PSIRA requirements and applicable labour legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication and client-management skills.
• Ability to investigate incidents and prepare professional reports.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and remain available after hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must reside in Fourways or the surrounding areas, or be able to travel reliably throughout the allocated area.
• Firearm competency, experience managing armed sites and relevant security-management qualifications will be advantageous.

Field Manager

Aragon Khusela is seeking an experienced and reliable Field Manager to oversee security operations, personnel and service delivery across assigned sites in and around Fourways.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with site instructions.
• Supervise and manage security officers across allocated sites.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniform standards and discipline.
• Ensure that all posts are properly staffed and arrange relief personnel where required.
• Investigate incidents, complaints and operational concerns.
• Complete occurrence reports, inspection reports and disciplinary documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients, security officers and management.
• Conduct parade inspections and ensure that officers are fit and properly equipped for duty.
• Monitor company vehicles, firearms, radios and other operational equipment.
• Assist with investigations, hearings and performance management.
• Respond to emergencies and operational incidents after hours when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, PSIRA requirements and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid PSIRA registration, preferably Grade A or Grade B.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or field management position within the private security industry.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong knowledge of security operations and disciplinary procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to complete reports accurately.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and conflict-management abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
